The Fieldwork Centre is a trational Chinese, four-room house with a large, rambling garden. We are located on the moutainside above the village of Mui Wo, a 20-minute walk from the Silvermine Bay Ferry Pier.
Accommodation is simple with a self-catering kitchen, laundry and shower facilities. There is a patio, a large common room and a good library of books on Hong Kong and China.
The property is home to a wide variety of plants, which threaten, at times, to overgrow the place entirely. The trees include banana, lime, papaya, guava, lychee, longan, and wampei. You will also find an ever-changing variety of wildlife, including the endangered barking deer.
